Hello! I recently stopped using the regimen. Ive been using Biore charcoal cleanser, and Burt's Bee's salicylic acid spot treatment on my face. The Biore cleanser is find, but i think the Burt's Bee's is making me break out from the salicylic acid. I was considering getting X-out, i heard its good. I dont want to get acne again, but i dont have time to do a 3-step routine twice a day, and the Regimen also makes me super flaky and dry. Please recommend some face washes that will keep me clear? I have oily skin by the way:)

Having stopped The Regimen 4 weeks ago, i can guarantee that your skin is going to to through an unhappy phase (a month after stopping and i am breaking out all over in inflamed and non inflamed acne). Even if you are on a new regimen, it will take a while for your skin to adjust and for you to tell if the product is working. I would wait 2-3 months to accurately gauge whether it is working for you or not. X-out is basically BP but on a smaller scale so i guess you could try it. No matter what BP product you use, you will go through the dryness and flaking phase as that is the nature of acne treatments. No face wash is going to keep you clear unfortunately as acne comes from internal factors. Since you're 16, you're probably in that hormonal phase which means prime time for teen acne. I would recommend picking one skin care routine and sticking with it. Also think about adjusting your diet for 2-3 months (cutting out dairy and maybe gluten)

Good Luck

Thank you for helping me:) I am actually allergic to dairy, so that is currently not in my diet haha. I think i will try the X-out, just because its one step and has BP. The Regimen really worked for me, it just caused super flakiness. Im hoping the X-out wont cause as much flaking. Thank you again xxx
