Hoping someone here can help me. I developed eczema (never had it in my life) while on The Regimen so i quit. The eczema patches cleared on their own after a few days. My acne started to come back as small grainy bumps at first. Went to go see a derm who said to do BP in AM and retinoids in the PM. After 2 days on BP in the AM, i developed a big patch of eczema on my face. I came home last night, washed off the BP and moisturized. I have been itching on those areas like mad (i don't scratch). The areas turned crusty after i moisturized too. I have developed several inflamed bumps around my face that are tomato red. When i washed and moisturized, my face burned and the redness intensified 10 fold and is not going away.
What should i do? Does this mean that all topicals or out or that i am only intolerant to BP. So sad right now with acne, eczema and itching to boot
It seems that the bp could be the culprit to your odd dry patches. Your skin may not be able to tolerate bp or topical treatments or some type of reaction to acne fighting treatments. The burning after cleansing and moisturizing is likely because your skin is irritated and inflamed. Were you using to much bp at one time? And i hope this helped!

Well i was on The Regimen so it's safe to say i used a ton of BP twice a day. Even when i tried to use a pea sized amount, my eczema flared up. It could be a BP thing or a topical thing though i hope its not a topical thing as i am not keen to taking oral meds. I've already tried the natural route with my acne and what a disaster.
