Wow! It has been so long since I have been on these forums. I took accutane 6 years ago and it did amazing things for my skin. It was incredible not having to constantly worry about acne for 6 years. However, about 6 months ago my skin changed. I started getting a lot of whiteheads and now my skin is becoming more and more like it was pre accutane everyday. In the past month I have seen a return of cystic acne and I am just 2 months away from my wedding day!
Anyway, with only 2 months to look my best, is the regimen the right path for me? Or will I be a purging, red, flakey mess on my wedding day?

no I think its a perfect time for you to start the regimen. Its usually on the first minthy that you experience dryness/flakiness while your skin gets used to the benzoyl.
Since your skin is starting to breakout again it is the best time to start rather then leaving it to get worse thus being more difficult and requiring more time to see results.

Thank you for responding! That makes me feel a lot better. I ordered the regimen products online and am waiting for them to come but I have started the regimen already using gentle cleanser, neutrogena on the spot bp, and Cetaphil moisturizer. I hope I made the right choice and all goes well.
I am so thankful for acne.org. This site helped me so much back when I was on accutane and I know it will help me again now that my acne is coming back.
