Hello everyone.

I am new to acne.org and just recently started the regimen.

I have mild to moderate acne with a load of scars and hyperpigmentation which I find is worse the actual acne itself. My cheeks and forehead look very dark and dull compared to my body and other areas of my face. Ahhh dnt you just hate when people especially family/friends comment about your face despite knowing how insecure you feel about it.

Ive been using the regimen for 1week now and so far my face feels sooo tight and dry. I am not flaky or peeling which is frustrating because I can't remove the dry/dead skin.

Isit normal for my face to feel tight? ? At the same time my face looks very smooth and shiny? ?

Is jojoba oil worth getting? If so, how shud I use it?

I am going on holiday with friends and I really dont wanna be wearing makeup or feeling insecure and not enjoying myself

I am on day 8 and applying jojoba oil with my moisturiser in the evening. It really does help the texture without clogging the pores. Don't be alarmed with how greasy it feels initially, it wil eventually seep in.

Jojoba didn't work for me. BUT it might work well for you. It didn't really seep in and hydrate my skin. But you need to try it for yourself first. What works for me is Almond Oil. I feel that it's much more hydrating. In fact, this is the only moisturizer I use on top of Dan's BP.

How I use it:

Wash with cleanser (Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser)

Pat dry and apply BP (full finger on Week 2)

Wait 5-15 minutes

SLATHER Almond or Jojoba Oil at Night. It'll be very shiny but you're sleeping anyway

Ive tried using jojoba oil and my face just looks too greasy Especially when my skin is tight it just comes out really horrible. I'm having this problem with my moisturiser aswell.

I feel like the moisturiser sinks into my skin but when I look in the mirror it gives me this very greasy look :/

nearly into my 2nd week and only bits of my skin has peeled off. My cheeks are very dark and tight where as my forehead and chin has peeled off and looks much lighter. I wont be surprised if people think I have lightened myself.
