Hi I'm new to this whole thing but I've recently bought The Regimen about 3 weeks ago and it's definitely cleared my face up. However I'm left with dark spots ugh and I was wondering if anybody knew of a product or treatment I could use for them that won't work against The Regimen?

The glycolic acid treatment (AHA) that you can purchase with the Regimen is supposed to help fade those marks.

Retinoids work well too but I think that you need to wait until you have completely cleared your acne before you try anything stronger like that.

Good luck.

Hi :)

I am currently also dealing with dark spots/hyperpigmentation, and I would just recommend using natural products.

There are many face masks and spot treatments you can apply to your face, which work very well.

Some of these include turmeric, raw honey, lemon juice, plain natural yogurt, rosehip seed oil, pure aloe vera gel, and more.

I have been making a turmeric face mask, which is pretty much just turmeric powder, lemon juice, yogurt, and honey. I mix it all together and apply it to my face for about 30-40 minutes, and I have noticed a difference :) So definitely try this! I love this mask, but the turmeric does leave a yellow tinge on your face when you wash it off. You can remove this by applying a layer of yogurt to your face until it turns yellow by absorbing the turmeric from your skin, or gently using a ground coffee scrub, which works just as well.

Anyway, there are so many natural ways to fade dark marks. I would definitely research and try a few of these for a while before turning to any over the counter products or treatments :)

Good luck!

Grapeseed oil used along with the regimen really seems to help fade hyperpigmentation. Plus it's very gentle and non irritating, and doesn't cause breakouts.
