I am considering using The Regimen for my acne problem, however the problem isn't severe. I noticed on the directions for The Regimen, it is suggested to use half a pump of benzoyl peroxide in the beginning and slowly work up to two pumps. I noticed that above the dosage chart, it explicitly states that this amount is needed for "Treating entire face" My question is: Can i put half a pump of benzoyl peroxide on only my problem areas (mainly above eyebrows and chin area but that's it, i don't have acne anywhere else) or do i have to put it on my entire face for it to work?

The Regimen instructions say to apply to the whole of your face but there are many people who only apply the BP to their problem areas and have successfully cleared. Others have reported that they started to break out in otherwise clear areas if they only applied to the problem areas of their skin.

I would recommend you try only treating your problem areas and see how you go. If you start breaking out in other areas then start applying to your whole face.

As for the amount of BP, its really really important that you start slowly and allow your skin to adjust to BP (its very powerful!). So if you are only applying to a couple of areas then only use a pea size amount in the first few days and slowly slowly build up. I would say half to 3/4 of a pump would be the full amount of BP you should use as your full dosage in a few weeks time.

Good luck! :)
