I've been on the Regimen for seven months. By month four I was completely clear. Now, out of the blue I'm starting to breakout with tiny, painful whiteheads around my upper and lower lip. Has this happened to anybody else? Any thoughts on what could have caused it? The only thing that has changed is that I went on birth control. Could it be hormonal?
If that's the only thing that you've changed, I'd say it probably is related to the pill. Which one are you on? Have you been on it before?
Another thing to consider is that you've maybe changed one of your lip glosses or chapsticks and maybe not realized it. I know one of my favorite flavors tends to break me out if I get it on my skin.
The new birth control may be a factor, or as suggested above have you switched makeup or lipgloss/lipstick, etc? New boyfriend with lots of kissing? Is there any source of irritation that you can identify that you are getting to that area?
Try using more bp in the trouble spots and minimize sources of irritation. See if that helps.
