I completely understand! My sons are on week 11 and are still not clear either. They were doing 2x per day but their skin was so red and irritated all the time that it led to more pimples, 1x a day means much less redness and irritation but doesn't control new pimples well. So it seems like there's no happy medium. Plus all the red marks hang around forever and looks like more acne than it really is. Discouraged right now.
Hi keep with it! It took me 3 months to get completely clear! U just have to have patience.
I'm so grateful for people who have been through the regimen and let the rest of us know that it can take a lot longer than you think, it really helps you keep going. I think Dan's timeline isnt all that realistic, most people seem to take A LOT longer to get clear than what Dan says. I really hope if my boys keep plugging away that it will pay off!
I know it seems like it takes forever to really kick in, but just think everyday you're one step closer to clearer skin. I started in December 2013, and although my skin isn't clear, my acne has greatly improved. The texture of my skin, the redness has greatly improved, and although I'm guilty of wanting it to happen overnight I know a couple of months ago I would of been ecstatic to see how far my skin has improved. I'm grateful for my progress thus far.
