2 Full Pumps Of Acne.org Moisturizer - It Never Fully Absorbs

Dan recommends 2 full pumps of Acne.org moisturizer which is a good call for people on The Regimen because it helps keep the skin moisturized after benzoyl peroxide.

How have people gotten the 2 full pumps to absorb fully? I can never get the 2 full pumps to absorb even when I apply one pump and wait for it to absorb and then apply a second pump.

The extra moisturizer just sits on top of my skin.

Also, even 2 full pumps leaves my skin feeling tight after a while.

I either apply the 2 full pumps and wait forever for it to absorb and still feel dry, or I apply 1.5 pumps have it absorb more quickly and still feel dry.

Seems like a lose, lose situation to me.

I only do one pump with the moisturizer because two pumps makes my face super shiny

Maybe you're over moisturizing.. This can be bad because you're using the lotion and natural oils for the dry skin. It can cause the breaks out to be worse. Try a little less lotion.

Honestly I never used 2 full pumps, it annoyed me to try to rub it all in when it never would. I suggest adding extra jojoba oil into the moisturizer if you still feel dry

In the morning I use about a pump of moisturizer with 1 drop of jojoba oil

At night I use 1/4 - 1/2 a pump with a finger length of AHA and 3 drops of jojoba oil.

My skin has never felt more moisturizer on te regimen than it does now :)

I don't like Dan's moisturiser because it never felt like my skin was actually being moisturised. I'd say try other brands like Cetaphil's moisturising lotion which is GREAT. It's thicker and creamy and when you put it on your face you actually FEEL like it's being absorbed in. Or CeraVe's moisturiser - personally that made me break out, but I use it as a hand cream sometimes since I bought it already, and it makes my hands feel hydrated right away.

Witch hazel and wash your face with dandruf shampoo like head and shoulders its a weird combo but it works. Also Dr. Bell its a white cream that's good for moisturizing the skin I recommend putting it on massaging it and wiping it off and most of the skin will come off and then proceed to wash with the shampoo and apply witch hazel. Hope this helps :) best of luck
