hello, new user here

so i used to have acne back in high school and it got cleared up a few years ago but it also left some scars and redness on the face, my question is do i have to use the BP or can i just use a cleanser and then the AHA+.

Also i have some hyperpigmentation on the back and chest with an occasional pimple popping up here and there, do i have to follow the regimen with BP and then the AHA+ for that?

Firstly, if you don't have any active acne then you don't need to use BP. AHA is an exfoliant and will help with clearing red marks/ hyper pigmentation, however your skin will be more susceptible to sunburn. All the best

A good sunscreen will help you a lot. Paula's Choice sunscreens are the best.
