Hey guys,

I've been on The Regimen for about a week now using store bought products (it costs too much to ship here to Australia acne.org products.) I never had much acne but I tried using Clearasil for a week (which made it worse) and then Clean &Clear (which made it more worse.) By the end of using these products my acne was twice worse. Then i found out about The Regimen and I now use Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser for the first step of my regimen. I notice that after I cleanse and rinse my face I always feel irritation, a stinging sensation and see my face turn rather red. I then wait for it to dry and apply Benzac AC gel 2.5%. This merely makes my face irritated a bit while my face stays red. After the benzoyl peroxide soaks in I apply Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture Combination Skin. This really hurts my skin. I put it on then it starts stinging like crazy and goes really red. The stinging goes away but my cheeks seem to always be a dark pink. I'm not sure if that's the acne or my skin being irritated because most of my acne is concentrated on or near the cheeks. I have also noticed that about an hour after my skin starts flaking and I see white flakes even though I've put moisturiser on. Also, after showers (which are at about 6:00pm, whereas I do the Regime at 9:30ish) should I moisturise my face? I'm also unsure of what sunscreen to buy because living in Australia it gets very sunny but I have no idea what sunscreen to apply. I'm rather in doubt but can someone please clear up whether I'm making any mistakes for my facial care?

Thanks
