In a week it'll be 2 months since I started the Regimen. I had to increase at snail speed because my skin is very sensitive to BP. The tender/pink skin and flaking was uncontrollable, but it's finally calmed down. HOWEVER, I'm still flaking. It's not extreme like it used to be, but it's noticable and still gets into my hair when I wash my face. According to Dan AHA is supposed to help with stubborn flaking, though I've read in some posts that it's actually CAUSED people to flake. So I figured I'd ask for some imput.

AHA helped me a lot with flaking. But it wasn't an overnight fix. It gradually got better and better, so don't expect it to stop the flaking right away.

If you use too much in the beginning, it might actually burn your skin and so you'll "flake" because of that...that's what happened to me the first time I tried using it. I used way too much AHA too fast because i thought my skin was adjusted to it but boy was I wrong! If in doubt, start off really slow, and I mean REALLY slow. This time around when I started AHA I used 1/4 AHA and 3/4 moisturiser every other day just to make sure I wouldn't burn my face off again. I've worked my way up to using only AHA at night over the span of 2 months and the results are remarkable! My family's been saying my skin looks smoother and softer and I haven't received compliments on my skin in a decade!

But yeah it won't be an overnight fix, and the first week your skin might feel red and the flakes will still most likely be there...but if you use the jojoba oil exfoliating method you'll find you'll end up scrubbing a LOT more flakes off than usual.
