Scared To Try The Regimen..?

Hi all, I'm new here so let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I'm a 19 year old girl, and my face has always been pretty clear, except for those awkward middle school days when I would get a breakout or two. Ever since then, I've been kind of obsessive about making sure my skin is clear, so I try to be really good about washing my face, not touching or picking, etc. rolleyes.gif

I had been using the AcneFree three step system for years, and my mom suggested I try PanOxyl 10% BP which was a really bad mistake. I decided to give it a chance because my skin had not broken out badly in a long time, and I thought it would be easier to keep up with than the acnefree three step system. I guess I got kinda lazy rolleyes.gif The panoxyl also worked really well for my mom and for my 23 year old sister. Well after about a week of using the panoxyl, my face broke out worse than ever before. There are those frustrating, hard to get rid of, tiny bumps on my cheeks and my forehead (where I usually never break out at), and I'm really scared. I assumed it was a bad reaction to the panoxyl, so I freaked out and I'm back using the acnefree, but it's not really helping. It's actually getting worse. Did I ruin my skin or something with the panoxyl?

Anyways, I ordered the Regimen online a few days ago, but I'm really scared to start. I'm scared that it will make my face worse, like the panoxyl did. I have read all the reviews and the steps and what to expect, so I know that my face might get worse in the first month or two. I guess I'm just not comfortable with change grinwink.gif Can anyone help calm my fears a little bit, or maybe give your opinion on if you think the Regimen will work for me? It'd be greatly greatly appreciated. wub.png

Maybe try just washing your face with a gentle cleanser for a week or 2 and see if it clears up before you start the regimen. You may just be being to harsh on your skin right now and its irritating it causing you to break out. Just a suggestion though.
