1.cleanser

2. moisturiser

3.BP product

I'm 22 and male. Thanks!

When I was on the regiment I used:

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (Boots pharmacy)

Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion (same)

Olay Complete Care Sensitive Day Fluid (contains spf 15 for during the day, available in Boots, Superdrug, supermarkets etc.)

Jojoba oil (Holland and Barrett)

The bp I used has been discontinued now unfortunately but if your search benzoyl peroxide 2.5% on Amazon UK I'm sure there are a few different alternatives like Benzac and Neutrogena On-The-Spot that should work alright with the regimen. Good luck!

So did the regimen not work for you. This is what I'm hesitant about because so many people on here say it doesnt work....didnt resolve their acne

The regimen pretty much cleared my acne but it was so irritating that it effectively destroyed my skin in the process. It was just constantly red, flaky and irritated even after a whole year of getting "accustomed" to the benzoyl peroxide. Personally, I don't think it's good for your skin to be applying bp twice a day which is why it doesn't say to do so on any prescription medications containing bp. However, bp is really good for clearing acne in sensible amounts. There are lot of people on here who have had great success with the regimen and would therefore probably disagree with me, but if I were you I'd only use bp once a day and nowhere near as much as they suggest on this website either. Your call though!

So why did you not just stay on the regimen but only apply BP once a day?

I did that for a few months and it worked pretty well which is why I recommend it. Then I had the stupidity to try coming off the bp altogether and had the worst breakout of my life.
