I'm getting pretty tempted to start Dans regimen. However, I see a lot of posts on here about how the regimen isnt working for people and there still breaking out a few months into it. Also dealing with the initial breakout, I have a lot of stuff to do where im gonna be socialising with people graduation, new work, job interviews friends birthday. Don't want my confidence to be completely destroyed from the IB.

Plus I heard its expensive, don't want to waste money on products that dont work. Catch 22,

JUst wondered peoples advice

Hi there...you don't have to use Dan's products, though his line is really good for the money and the amount of product you get. He does offer drugstore alternatives. He has a list that you can download and print on the home page. Best of luck to you surprised.gif

Oh, and also...while it may be true that The Regimen may not work for some, what I'm finding a lot of is people giving up before really giving The Regimen a chance. It can take up to 3 months to get clear and, for some, it may take longer. Also, when starting The Regimen you may have some nasty breakouts to begin with. This happens to quite a few folks. The Regimen will initially clear them up and then, all of a sudden, they breakout like crazy. Trust me, it will be a setback, but the end results are worth it. Just thought I'd throw that in there cool.png

Thanks for the advice! Do you think the store brought products are less effective than dans products?

Nope...the only things I use from Dan's line is the BP and the AHA....I use Johnson & Johnson Head to Toe Baby Wash for my cleanser and Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for moisturizer...Dan's cleanser wasn't cleansing enough (I wear a full face of makeup) and the moisturizer just wasn't cutting it for me, even with jojoba oil. The Cetaphil works great, but is a little thick. And if you start The Regimen, you will get dry and flakey...that's where the jojoba oil comes in. And you can get a pretty good deal on jojoba oil online. I get mine from Ebay. Hope this helps grinwink.gif
