Hey guys! I wanted to get some of y'all's opinion on changing my regimen. December marks my one year anniversary of being on The Regimen and I'm not really satisfied with my skin, but I'm not hating it. I still get breakouts, just not the cystic ones I was getting before. And they're still quite frequent; like every few days I'm getting a breakout. I'm just thinking maybe there's so thing else out there. I've heard lots of positive things about going organic; Michael Todd Organics; Origins skin care, etc. Do y'all think it would be a good idea to switch it up, or keep tryin to make this regimen work? All opinions help! Thanks, have a great week :D

Going natural and cleaning up my diet improved my skin 70%. I'd give it a go, but your skin might get worse at first if its used to BP.

Do you think it could be other things making you break out? I've been breaking out slowly throught the last month, nothing major but still it is annoying.

I chalk it up to being really stressed at work and not getting enough rest.

Have you tried using Lush products? They try to use all natural ingredients in their products and have a wide range of skin care products for different skin types. I was on practiv for about a year and finally got fed up with the lousy results so I decided to switch to Lush. I've been using their products for about 3 months and I'm very happy with the results. I still have small breakouts but my skin is feeling and looking so much better because I'm not putting all of the harsh chemicals and ingredients that other brands use.

Whatever you decide to do.. good luck! :)

Yea I'm pretty sure there are other factors (crappy diet and not drinking enough water). I'm starting a detox cleanses in a few weeks so maybe that'll get all the yuck out of me!

I won't use lush for their face products. They do have harsh chemicals and aren't 100% natural. My esthetician forbids me to use them haha.

She knows that it would destroy my finnicky skin. Nothing against Lush at all! I just have very sensitive, picky skin. I've finally found something that doesn't make my skin freak out, so I should probably just stick to it!

Have you tried using the acne.org cleanser and lotion? The toner and moisturizer could be irritating your skin.

No, the only acne.org products I use are the BP and Aha. The toner and moisturizer have actually helped my skin tremedously. My skin is much softer and my red marks have faded. And i'm less oily. I think that I'm just being impatient and slightly spoiled, my skin isn't terrible but not where I want it.

Seems like you have a lot determination and will power to cure your acne. Think it like this - You are using some chemicals on your face to cure acne for the last 12 months and I believe you did this because you wanted to see some quick results ? Yet it took 12 months and your skin is not clear yet. You must consider acne as a disease, it won't leave until you change your lifestyle and diet. Using chemicals as Benzoyl Peroxide will just hide the symptoms of Acne, it won't cure it permanently. Once you will chuck on it then acne will come back again.

You must know the problem inside your body which has caused acne. Whether it is too much toxic buildup or Hormones irregularity. I would recommend you to start over again and cut out all the acne aggravating foods you eat and start eating healthy food. Meditate daily, conduct fast every week, do Pranayam, get Ayurveda tips. If you need any help regarding this drop me a message.
