Hi all :)

I have just started the acne.org Benzoyl peroide in the regimen recently and I have had very tight skin after washing and drying.

But after the BP has dried and when I start applying the appropriate moisturiser my skin feels this burning sensation which is quite uncomfortable, it usually last around 5-10 minutes and then goes away. My skin looks really dry and wrinkly a bit around the eyes, which I did try to avoid.

Can some one advise me from their experience, on the moisturising and wrinkling part?

Thanks guys

The burning sensations is unpleasant but perfectly normal in the early stages (first 1-3 months) of the regimen. It goes away once your skin is adjusted to BP. Just make sure you're building up slowly with BP.

As for wrinkles around the eyes, what I used to do was wash my face and then apply some moisturiser just around my eyes. Wait until your face is dry and then apply the BP as normal (avoiding the eye area) and then after that has dried, apply moisturiser (again avoiding the eye area). This helped me but to be honest, my skin was dry for 2 months but went back to normal after that.
