hello everyone! a little background about my acne, I've had it for 4 years now (I am only a freshman in highschool), it is very mild but it never goes away. I have little bumps/clogged pores on my forehead, which occasionally turn into pimples. I also have blackheads on my nose and occasional acne around my chin/mouth. I have tried many things including retin-a, which worked for around a month, then the little bumps returned. I also have clogged pores (barely visable) on my chest, and a few pimples on my back and shoulders. My question is, do you think the regimen would work well for mild but constant acne? and would i be able to use the cleanser and treatment on my back/chest?
Hi
The regimen is definitely something that could work for you and there are directions on how to use it for the body also.
But just remember that it's not a 'cure' but it is a very effective treatment. You can achieve clear skin with the regimen but it's the sort of thing that you will have to continue using once you're clear to continue to see results - that's just how most topical treatments work. (Unless you're lucky enough to grow out of acne someday). The 'active ingredient' of the regimen is benzoyl peroxide (BP) and that can bleach fabric so that's something to keep in mind if you were wanting to use it on your body.
Read all the info / instructions / FAQ / what to expect sections about the regimen too so you have a good understanding of what the regimen involves and how it works. Good luck with whatever you decide to try for your skin
