A little over 5 weeks on the regimen and I'm still breaking out. I try to follow the regimen very religiously but I still get new pimples every fucking day it's making me insane. I've high hopes on the regimen. I know it's only been 5 weeks but come fucking on, can't it show a even a little improvement? Fucking god, I'm really messed up right now. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to release that.
I wouldn't stress too much about it because that will make things worse. And 5 weeks is still in the early stages of the regimen. I was still breaking out at that point too so it is normal. Infact, I broke out the most during my 4th and 5th week on the regimen. Don't get discouraged, just keep up with it religiously.
It takes time. Are you using the full BP dosage?
Explain to the T the process of you applying the regimen, maybe you're doing something wrong.
Are you being extremely gentle? Are you cleansing for only 10 seconds?
I did everything as close as possible. I started a small amount on the BP and then built it up. As of the 3rd week I'm already using the full finger's length. I only cleanse for 10 seconds. I try to be gentle as possible. I wait around 10-12 hours to do it again, I do the regimen 2x a day. I wait 15 minutes before going to the next step. Man I just don't know if it's working for me or not. I'm really down right now, sometimes I just wanna quit.

Well not thinking about my acne is an insurmountable task. Every freaking minute I think about the condition of my face. I've suffered long enough that I think it has scarred me mentally and emotionally. *sigh* 2 questions though. In what week did you start clearing up and in what week were you able to say "I'm finally clear"?
Hey! For most people it takes around 2-3 months to be perfectly clear, and for some it takes the full 6 months. It depends on your situation. I'm almost done with my 3rd week and my skin still feels like it's just purging old stuff! The Regimen takes a lot more mental strength than most people realize, including myself. You just have to push through, because you know what the results will be, and goodness is it worth it!

I guess I'm really just letting my emotions get the best of me. You're right, mental strength is so important when doing things like these. 2-3 months will feel like forever but there's nothing I can do but to keep going. Weird that you don't look like you have acne in your picture though.

Absolutely. It's hard. I have quite a few bad days too, but the good ones really help, and you will have those as well! It doesn't look like I have acne in pictures because I'm usually wearing makeup + the camera minimizes the appearance of bumps. In my gallery there is absolutely acne available for your viewing haha I have a weekly progress gallery and I write a daily blog, which is actually extremely cathartic, since I don't talk to many people about my skin. I would suggest doing it if you have the time! It feels good to write about it and look back and realize you might have made more progress than you think!

Oh I see so that's why. Well I have taken a look at your pictures and I've read a couple parts of your blog and I kinda feel we share the same pain. All of acne.org probably share the same feeling too. Acne is so emotionally and mentally detrimental and battling it is so grueling. And I've actually thought about doing my own log or blog (most people do logs compared to blogs, dunno why) but I'm not really the type to talk about myself or my day so I didn't do it. I could follow your blog though, I'd really wanna know if the regimen will work for you. Thanks!

Ugh yeah, it's so draining. Absolutely, do whatever you're comfortable with! I'll be updating 'till the very end of my Regimen adventure haha. I try to stay positive as much as possible. Anything you need, hun, feel free to message me!

Wow, you're too kind. You made my day a little better with your words. Thank you very much. I'll try to read your blogs as much as I can. Again, thank you. Well, see you around.
i've never really followed the regime, i personally think Bp doesn't work on all skin types, mines too sensitive, and will probably make it worse. You need to find your skin type and then look for products suited for it, a bit of research always helps! also take vitamins such as C, it has helped me a lot.
What's your diet like? how often do you drink water?
If your lips are dry or your urine is yellow-dark yellow (normal = clear colour), that's good sign that you're dehydrated.
Well my diet's not really good. My diet consist of lots of meat (all the good stuff), and very little veggies (I don't like fish too). Being said that, I don't think my diet is a very big factor on my acne because there was actually a time when I was consistently clear, for about 2 years then I stopped using the prescribed products my dermatologist gave me and my acne came back. As for water, I got no problem. It's like I'm programmed to drink water. Every time I check the fridge, I drink water. I'm pretty sure I drink more than what my body needs everyday. Not sure if that's a bad thing though.

Well I sure hope BP works for me. Sometimes going deeper into research about stuff like that gets pretty technical but it does help. And I do take vitamin C everyday, well for my immune system, not really for acne.
You should read thereisalwayshope's blog, it inspired me and many people to start the regimen! With her and many people on this forum, the regimen took a few months for the breakouts to calm down to start making a significant difference in the person's skin. Everyone's skin has a different point in time where the regimen really starts to work, but if you give the regimen time it WILL WORK. Good luck!
It was around the 8th week when I noticed I didn't see any new acne and it was about the 10th week when I was clear. I was left with a lot of hyperpigmentation but that slowly went away too. But do not compare my situation to yours or other regimen users. It really varies for everybody and you will probably just stress yourself out. Give it a good couple of months to do its magic.

I've read her blog and it's so amazing how she turned out. I'm so happy for her but I know that she had to go through a lot and she didn't give up that's why she's enjoying her skin now. I guess I'll just have to be very patient and persistent. Thanks!

Well that makes a lot of sense. I'll continue doing the regimen for a couple of months more and move on from there. Thanks!
When in doubt use more!!! More bp, more moisturizer, more gentle! Yea u will clear up. If not order some aha+ and feel the burn!! Ahaahaahaaha
I actually did ramp up the dosage a little bit. Hope it works *fingers crossed*
Hey, me too! my skin loves/hates it; it seems to be clearing wayyyy faster now but of course, it's back to being red and stinging. I've also kind of given into my pleasure in removing whiteheads, which the BP cleans up pretty well (assuming they're ready to be popped). Still gross, though. I'm so paranoid about my skin scarring, too, but what can ya do. Tell us if more BP helps!

I started doing it last Friday and my acne formation actually slowed down to quite a degree. I think it's working but in return my skin has been really dry. But hey, at least my acne's starting to be under control. I really hope it continues! I got some scars too but I don't really worry about it, they're relatively small and unnoticeable. I'll tell you guys in 1 week if ramping up the BP really helps.
UPDATE:
Holy freaking shoot! I'm 90% clear!! Is this real!? Just last week I was ranting about how the regimen takes too long to work but here I am now, pinching myself if this is a miracle or not. Haha forgive me for exaggerating but it's been a pretty long time since my skin looked this good. I still got some very SMALL and UNNOTICEABLE pimples but holy hell I'm happy! I can't wait to see how my skin progresses in the next few weeks haha. I don't know if it's just my skin adjusting to the regimen or it's because I used more BP but what the heck! It freaking works! Well I hope it continues... we'll see. Have a great day guys!

Congrats! That's so awesome, I'm glad the Regimen is starting to give you the results you want.

Yeah I know! It's finally coming through haha but I did have 2 new pimples on the far right side of my cheek . Anyway what about you? Looks like you're getting there too, I hope.

Aw yeah, the breakouts might not stop for a while but I'm so glad you're clearer! I've had some serious improvements within the past week, since using a generously full amount of BP. Still not the results I want yet, but it's only been a month for me so I still have a long way to go haha
