I know that anything to do with the lips should be avoided when it comes to BP. However, I've been getting some small pimples that come up right on the lipline, specifically my upper lip. I have one active on my lower lip as well. I feel bad leaving them alone because I feel like the bacteria is just given freedom to roam and spread. It started out as just two, now it's grown to seven. They don't hurt 24/7, but they tingle / hurt something awful when coming to heads, especially considering it's in such a tender area.
I've noticed that in a lot of people acne likes to keep its distance from the lip, as well as from the eyes and such. Well not with me. I am clear around the eyes, but unfortunately it seems like there is no limit as to how close acne wants to get to my lip.
Do you guys think it would be okay to graze the lipline with the Regimen? I honestly can't think of any other way to kill these guys. The other option is to wait it out, but then what's to stop them from surfacing again?
I'd recommend using the regimen on your whole face, since you probably wouldn't want a red patch around your mouth in the initial adjustment stage. I used the regimen around my lip line and never had any problems, other than slight chapped lips at the start. Just try not to get it directly on your actual lips.
I too get acne around my lip-line sometimes and when I used the regimen, it cleared that right up! Since stopping the regimen they weirdly haven't come back. I don't get them unless I use certain toothpastes now.

Thanks for the prompt answer!
Yes, I do plan on using the regimen on my whole face My entire face needs work, but I was wondering about the lipline, since acne there has been a somewhat recent development for me. I've been on the reg before, but I honestly can't remember how close to the lip I got.
The thing is, they are right ON the lipline. Not around... like smack dap where lip meets skin. So if I were to BP them, some would inevitably touch my lip...
I see. Lips are very sensitive and are one of the only parts of our facial skin that don't produce sebum and are much more prone to sun-damage; which BP increases the chances of too.
Hmm. I wouldn't suspect a thin layer of BP to cause significant problems. Just don't use as much as you do on the rest of your face. I got BP on my lips sometimes and whilst it felt slightly irritated, it was nothing more than what the rest of my face felt at the start.
Maybe you could ask one of the regimen support team. I'd feel terrible if I told you to try it and you had problems.
If you do, maybe get the jojoba oil to use as a lip-balm. I love it and it keeps my lips really hydrated.
Good luck!
I can't stand getting acne around the lipline, it's the worst... and they always take forevvvvvver to go away.
I never had any issues using BP on the lipline tho, besides the odd bit of chapped lips. I just try my best to avoid the eye area.. that's really the only place that really doesn't like the BP. If your lips get to chapped from using the BP around them, then you can always just use a couple drops of jojoba on them, or Vaseline works good if they get terribly chapped.. but I don't think you'll have many problems with it!

Thank you so much! I was worried that I'd have to live with these... But now I'm really glad I can show these things who's boss!
I'm not going to go crazy on them though, since I'm easing into the Regimen anyway... but it'll be good to at least have something on them, shortening their lifespan.
As your skin adjusts to the bp and you find that your acne starts to clear all over your face you will probably find that you get less and less acne in the parts of your face that you're not applying BP to (like around your lips).
BUT, if you are applying bp close to your lip line, just put on some chapstick before hand so you don't accidentally push bp onto your lips.
