Give it a shot. The main ingredient to the regimen is Benzoyl Peroxide.

Duac is a prescription combination medication and as such you should follow your doctor's instructions for use.

The Regimen uses 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in a very generous manner. Most prescriptions have specific dosage instructions and should not be used in the same generous way.

I used duac a year ago and had great success with it, I think it has an antibiotic in it as well. Just go easy on it, but I noticed really quick results and before even thinking about it I was clear. It wasn't so much cysts as smaller under the skin pustules that would eventually come to a head but took ages to do so. I've now got a bit of a hormonal outbreak going on and loads of blocked pores which is doesn't really work for so I'm not using it anymore, but if you have slightly inflamed acne I'd definitely give it a go. You need to keep it in the fridge and also the antibiotic in it goes off after about three months and it isn't as effective so make sure you get a repeat after 3 months if you're still using it.
