I've been on the regimen for about 3 months now and was wondering if it was ok to mix Dan's AHA with cetaphil moisturizer? The reason
I ask is because i ran out of Dan's moisturizer like last month and have been using the cetaphil as a substitute and it seems to be
working just fine on top of dan's Bp. I still practically have a brand new bottle of AHA but was wondering if it was ok to mix with the
cetaphil. If anybody has ever tried this would you recommend it?
I've tried it and it works great for me.
Oh okay thanks for replying, I just wanted to make sure because when you mix Dan's AHA with his moisturizer the consistency almost turns to water so i figured maybe their must be be some type of reaction that occurs and i didn't want to mix the wrong products together. Ill give it a try though and hopefully it wont be irritating but I've seen the progress that you've made and your skin looks great!

I think it will work just as well. I've been using cetaphil ever since I started the regimen and I love how moisturizing it is. That plus the AHA has worked really well in taking away the hyper pigmentation left behind by my acne.
I was curious as to how you use the aha to get rid of hyper pigmentation. Are you spot treating or are You using it all of your face. I just ordered dan aha and I'm actually not on the regimine but I need something easy to fade my red marks and I heard this stuff works great. I just want to make sure I am using it the best way to accomplish that.

During the day I use it as a spot treatment. Then at night I spot treat before I apply my benzoyl peroxide and then after that I mix moisturizer and AHA together and then apply it all over my face. But I guess if you aren't on the regimen, spot treating should be good enough.

Well thank you for your information I got it im my mailbox today!! I tested a spot on my chin and my jawline which I'll continue to test for a couple more days just to make sure the AHA doesn't break me out. Then I will spit treat my problem areas. Maybe after a few weeks of usage I'll do half and half so I can even out my entire skin tone. Thanks again!

If the AHA doesn't work out for your dark marks look into this PCA skin pigment gel. My dermatologist had recommended it to me and i thought it worked pretty good. Initially when i would apply it i thought it made my marks a bit darker but in time they cleared up. I still have about half the bottle left and this was more than a year ago. I have like 3 dark spots on my cheeks but these are newly formed and i probably would apply that gel again but i just want to stick to the regimen for now and hopefully dans AHA has some type of effect on them.
