Quitting The Regimen For Panoxyl Face Wash

I feel like I'm in a rut. After 2 months on the DKR I haven't seen much improvement. This last week my face just broke out randomly and I'm getting impatient. I used Panyoxyl about a year ago and looking back at pictures, my face was flawless! Is it just me or is this going to be a never ending battle on the DKR? I feel like I'm about to jump off a bridge with this decision (dramatic I know). Do I keep on with this thing that's not working or go back to something that did? Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Panoxyl Face Wash has been discontinued.... so i would stick with the DKR if i were you. Give it at least another month before thinking about quitting.

Are you sure you are following the steps correctly? And what products are you using?

Sorry to ask, but if the regimen isnt working for you, it could be down to how you are using it.

Try to hang in there if you can. Many people do not start to see really good results until they hit the three month mark and afterward. Please make sure you are following it very strictly. And read here: http://www.acne.org/biggestmistakes.html

Also, take this little quiz. http://www.acne.org/regimenadvice.php

Please do look at the links Brandy posted. The process is so important.

Before I found acne.org, I had tried literally everything and nothing worked. The Regimen worked great for me.

Luckily I don't have acne anymore.

Keep in mind, looking at pics from last year, your acne may have been less severe back then.

I would personally stick with it, because I know it works for almost everybody. But it does take time and it does require you to follow it strictly.

Tricky- panoxyl face wash has not been discontinued, not where I live anyway.

I use clean and clear foaming face wash, Dan's treatment, neutrogena oil free moisturizer (am), and walgreen's AHA face cream (pm)

I sometimes have to rush my morning routine, but other than that I follow it to a T.

I didn't expect to still be getting breakouts after having a good clear-up.

Hello there... It's totally normal to have a breakout only 8 weeks into the regimen... Honestly, you have to give it at least 12 to 16 weeks to see real results. I'd hate to see you give up when you haven't completed the regimen course completely. I have a huge clogged pore right now and I've been on the regimen over a year but I continue to do the regimen because 98% of the time, I'm clear as a whistle. Give it a little more time before you quit the regimen all together... I promise you won't regret it! :) Good luck with whatever you choose and keep us up to date on your progress... :)

Nycqueen- I decided to stick it out a little loner. I realize how much my skin has already improved in 2 months, so when 4 months rolls around i hope to have clear skin. Thank you for the encouragement! I will definitely be staying on the regimen and I will be updating along the way!

To be honest the regimen does not work for a lot of people, its hard to get an unbiased opinion on here considering the bandwagon but I'd be the first to tell you otherwise.

I'm sure Dan is living very nicely off the months on end of treatment recommended.
