So my very first package of The Regimen came in; I ordered it off Amazon. I go to open the moisturizer like how you have to twist the pump and then it springs up, well i twist it and it pops up and some moisturizer comes up too. The moistuizer has a light yellow color to it and has the texture of glue, is it spouse to be like this? The expiration date at the bottom of the tube says 12/14 but dosent say what year.
I also heard bad reviews of the moisturizer so im thinking of getting a differnt one any sugestions? also should i wait after actually doing the regimen to use a different moistuizer or should i just change it up and use different products with dans stuff.
The moisturiser is supposed to be yellow and the consistancy sounds fine. The expiry is Dec 2014 so thats fine too.
As for any product there are people who love it and people who hate it so its up to all of us to try things to work out if its suitable for ourselves.
Personally I find Dan's moisturiser to be slightly less moisturising than I would like but I find that it works the best when following the regimen because it keeps my skin the most clear. Cetaphil moisturiser is fantastic for me as far as hydration goes, but after a while it starts to clog my pores. So I swap both products around depending on how my skin is that day/week.
My suggestion to you would be to use Dan's moisturiser (with added drops of jojoba oil) when following the regimen and just see how you go. If you find its not hydrating enough then switch it out with another moisturiser, but I encourage you to draw your own conclusion as all of us are different and our skin all reacts differently to various products.
