Hey guys, I've been on the regimen for about 3 months now. I use BP twice a day, and AHA at night. Over the months, I noticed that my face got extremely fat. Could this be because of the BP or AHA? Does anyone have any similar experiences. People who I haven't seen in a long time would say "wow you got fatter". Also, I recently took a picture of myself, and wow, I could not recognize how fat my face has become. Please help.

I should probably mention that yes, the regimen has been working for me. People say my acne is way better than it was 3 months ago. I had mild acne and a few cysts. and my face was extremely oily, but the regimen has helped control that oiliness.

Yes, I also had this! Some times I would wake up and my face would seem swollen and bloated in a way, I'm guessing it was the BP I was using and still am, haven't really taken thought to it anymore though! It was just sometimes I would wake up and be like "oh, what's happened" I don't know if it would be a allergic reaction to the cream? If it is I'm still using it, maybe someone else will be able to help but in my opinion try not to worry about it too much if it's helping your acne! :)

Normal side effects are stinging, itching, redness and peeling. So I'm pretty sure your face is having an abnormal reaction to one of your products, I'd assume an allergic reaction. If you feel comfortable see if the swelling stops after a week or so. If not, you should probably stop unless you think it's alright, or if a doctor or someone says you're fine.

Hope I helped, good luck. (:

In the early weeks of following the regimen my eyelids and under my eyes were really puffy and swollen, but I dont recall thinking my face was (although I have naturally chubby cheeks...damn!). Its strange that you are experiencing swelling after 3 months. Like the above poster says, it may be a slight allergic reaction and perhaps a call to the doctor would be useful.
