Hello,
I was wondering if anyone experienced extreme worsening of acne while on the regimen. I'm currently using BP 5% with recommended cleansers and mosturizers while waiting for my acne.org package to arrive.
It started getting worse around week 2, now I'm nearing the end of week 6 and I'm sad to say I have the worst acne I have ever had in my life. Most of my acne is cyctic and is on my cheeks and I get around 2-3 new painful bumps every day.
Also I noticed some swelling from time to time, so I lowered the dosage of the BP. Still, on week 6 my skin is red, irritated and it actually burns after going through the steps
I'm a little scared to continue with the regimen...Has anyone experienced anything like that?
It took about 3 months for the regimen to work for me. My skin still wasnt perfect after the 3 months. My skin was extremely congested. Lots of cysts, pustules, papules, open and closed comedones.
I introduced a 8% aha cream to the regimen and it helped out a lot. It took most of the dry skin away so that the other topicals could absorb better. I started using the aha durring the 3rd month of being on the regimen. I wish I would of started using it sooner because it works so well with the acne.org regimen.
Also the 5% bp might be to strong. Try mixing a pea sized amount with moisturizer, then apply it to your entire face.
I'm now on month 6 and im pleased with the results I have one cystic pimple right now because I went to L.A. and the city water is horrible there(I have well water at my house).
Don't give up!
Try only using the bp every other day, once a day. When your skin adapts to that slowly bump up the dosage.
There is no cure for acne but this regimen helps a lot better than most I've tried. Yes, being healthy and working out help. It's healthy to sweat because you're flushing out toxins. Hot saunas and Epsom salt baths do wonders for your skin as well. Eating clean helps too. Lots of fresh greens and other vegitables are good to consume for heathy skin. Mostly everyone knows this stuff but, actually doing it takes patience and practice. Don't fall for those stupid "acne cure" websites. They just want to sell you their stupid books.
One last thing, if you think youre having an allergic reaction to bp google " benzoyl peroxide allergic reaction" look at images and read.
Yes, some peoples faces can't tolerate all the chemicals you keep putting on your skin.
Go with natural products, do an apple fast and eat overall healthy. I promise you, you can get clear in less than a mounth if you follow acneerasingsecrets.org

Thank you so much for the advice! It never occured to me to mix BP with the mosturizer, I will definitely try it. It does seem like I have an allergic reaction to it (I'm allergic to a lot of things), but I don't think quitting is an option right now. I'll try adjusting the dosage as you said. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, I think I'll pass for now. Thanks for the reference though.
If this David "The Skin King" is legit, he needs to work on not making a less sketchy looking website that doesn't feels like it should be on the late night shopping channel.

No problem I'm happy to help! When I started using bp for the first time my face got red, itchy and irritated to the max.The skin around my eyes was all dry and red and I didn't apply it there. I was using 10% bp twice a day right away without easing into it. It was the only bp cream I could find at my local stores. I started mixing about a rice sized amount of 10% bp with a full pump of moisturizer and got great results.
If you really think you're having a allergic reaction you should stop using it.
