I just ordered and received the small AHA bottle and looks like the new AHA+ now has Niacinamide inside which was not advertised on DANS website.
Doesn't show Niacinamide as the ingredient in he's website.
Now I'm stuck with this brand new bottle since I do not go well with Niacinamide which breaks me out bad.
Has anything else changed to the AHA? Ive been using this product for 15 years, and the last batch I received caused my skin to turn bright red like a sunburn 3-4 hours after application. I thought maybe something else was going on irritating my skin, so I stopped using the product for a month. I happened to find a bottle from my last order 10-12 months ago and did a comparison, putting just a small amount on each arm. Just like before, the new batch turned my skin bright red, while the old batch did not. It also has a pungent smell which stayed even after a shower, and the redness lasted almost a week. All three new bottles smelled like this and had the same effect on my skin. Even if niacinamide isnt in the product yet, if its coming, I can no longer use the AHA. My otc moisturizer made the same addition and it caused irritation. Really disappointing the products keep changing when the old versions were working great and what built the customer base to begin with.
