I recently started using the Acne.org benzoyl peroxide and LOVE it compared to other OTC BP I've used in the past. But I also travel every other week on average and can't bring the 8 oz tube or 16 oz bottle with me. Buying the 3.4 oz bottle also gets costly since I go through them quickly and it's 50% more expensive than the larger sizes. I was wondering if it's okay to decant/transfer BP from the larger containers to a smaller, travel friendly bottle and if there are any precautions I should take when doing so. Does anyone else do this?
Hi, I do this all the time. Years ago I bought this 3,4 oz bottle for travelling and ever since that I refill this travel friendly bottle with my larger bottles.
I highly doubt there would be any negative effects from decanting the BP to another bottle, as long as the bottle is whole and air tight.
This is just my personal experience, im not saying im 100% sure. I would be interested to hear opposite opinions.
