Hi Everyone,
I started using the Acne.org treatment about 2 months. It is clearing active acne, however, my face is always extremely red after I use it. The past 2 days, I stopped the acne.org treatment and put a thin layer of Persagel 10 on my face overnight after cleansing with the acne.org cleanser. This caused NO redness, even though the concentration of BP is much higher. I am debating stopping the acne.org treatment and just using the acne.org cleanser with the persagel 10 as a spot treatment. My family has been asking me why my face looks so red and irritated lately. Does anyone know if there is an ingredient in the acne.org treatment that causes irritation. Please help!
I just looked at the ingredients in the acne.org treatment and I'm thinking I may have a reaction to the preservatives?
If you can get away with just using BP as a spot treatment then go for it. But, you did just put a thin layer on your face of 10% BP, it could still irritate your face in the long run so make sure to observe how that works over some time.
Just to share with you though, my skin didn't feel like my old skin again until I was 4 months into the regimen. I also was using a thick moisturizer at night (Cetaphil lotion) because it really helped a lot with the dryness and redness.
