Skin Adapting To Aha/scarring?

I read how the body regiment calls for twice daily use of AHA. I've read from users' posts that using AHA as directed (on the face) can cause random scars. (1)I was wondering if twice daily use of AHA on the sensitive area in between the breasts can cause scars as well? (2)Is it safe to mix half moisturizer and half AHA and apply to the face every night (as directed)?

Whenever I use the AHA, my chest turns a vibrant red and burns harshly. I would expect that to happen, but after a couple of uses, the skin seems to get really sensitive and very red. In fact, one time my skin became very dry and flaky. Each touch had a dandruff like reaction. (3)Will my skin become accustomed to the AHA like it did with the benzoyl peroxide?

Thanks!

If somebody knows for sure about skin becoming accustomed to AHA, please post it. I don't want to continue using this stuff if my skin freaks out each time.

Also, if someone knows anything about why some have experienced scars, please post that as well.
