I took my BP out with me one day because my work schedule has forced the 10-12 hour application interval into early evening when I'm still at work. However, I left the BP in the car in freezing temperatures without thinking about it. Once I went to apply it, it was frozen solid. Without thinking about the fact that you're not supposed to expose the BP to extreme temperatures, I shrugged it off and placed the bottle in front of a heater, at which point the BP became pretty hot.
I was wondering if anybody could tell me if my accidentally exposing the BP to extreme temperatures would have affected the effectiveness of the BP. It was frozen for anywhere from 4-10 hours, and was hot for about 30 minutes. Would this affect the BP?
Our manufacturer has assured us that transient temperature extremes should not harm the products. They do often get frozen during shipping and delivery. Just let them thaw at room temperature, give a little shake and they should be good to go. You wouldn't want to store them for weeks at a time at extreme temperatures though.
