I was researching the product "The Regimen" today and I want to know does it work well for African American skin? Does it assist with fading dark spots left over from acne?
I am 32 years old and I have been battling with this acne since I was 24. I did suffer from acne in junior high but it cleared up by high school and then it decided to return with full vegenance when I got in my 20s....such a bummer!!! However, I have spent so much money on over-the-counter products or prescription medication that it really makes you want to just give up. You spend all this money hoping to receive the results they are claiming and when you dont its a total let down. All I know that I want this stuff off my face. My face was so clear and radiant and now it is full of dark spots and cystic acne. So can someone help and let me know if this really worked for them? If so, what is the typical time frame that you can expect to see results?

I have such a bad time with dark spots too, I feel your pain!
The regimen doesn't do much for the dark spots, unless you incorporate Dan's AHA+ lotion.. That is definitely something to try out. I would not overuse the stuff because that can cause definite irritation but you need to try the stuff!!! Almost a miracle cure really. I saw results the morning after using it at night. And really great results the following weeks.
