I had finally convinced myself to try the regimen and started to put through an order only to find the cheapest shipping option to where I am in Australia is $58. I can't afford to pay that on top of the cost of the regimen and definitely not when it's something I'd have to buy again every few months for 'forever' if it ended up working well for me.
I'll have a look at store bought alternatives, though when I used a store bought BP in the past (benzacAC) I couldn't apply moisturizer on top of it as it just crumbled and looked horrible then. (and I guess it would work out to be pricey too having to buy it often after using the amount of BP the regimen requires - but I don't think it would be more than buying the regimen online...)
Ideally I'd like to be able to use the acne.org products - especially the BP and AHA+ but I can't afford it. So I was just curious as to whether shipping costs will reduce any time soon?

I agree that paying more for shipping than for a complete Acne.org kit is a major turn-off for people outside of the US. The cheapest option is already pretty expensive, but if you want your package to be traceable, it's completely disproportional with UPS being the only option then. Let's hope that they'll find a way to reduce those costs, so the Acne.org products will be much more affordable to overseas customers.
After you will find out what products work for you, you can order big amount of them at a time. Say, a year's supply. The more kits you ship in one package, the less you pay for the shipping of single kit. Also you can use some mail forwarder that can ship cargo by sea. It will take a lot of time to get package, but it will be cheaper than standart USPS shipping (usually by air).
