Of course you can, the two products aren't correlated.
I undertook a bit of an experiment about 5 months ago whereby I stopped using BP and solely used AHA+ on my face to see if I remained clear. It was a disaster...I broke out like crazy and it took another 7 weeks after commencing BP to become clear again. Now I stick to using both products together, but if you are mainly clear without using BP, then I would say AHA will work well for you. But its all personal, so you will just have to experiment and see what happens.
Let us know how you get on and good luck!
Argh I didn't mean to scare you. I only broke out because of my experiment to stop using a combination of Bp and aha and just use aha. Didn't work at all for me, but if you're already clear for the main part without using bp then I think you'll have a lot of success with aha.
hi!
my derma always asked me to do spot treatment with any acne med like bp(3%) or clindamycin phsphate etc.
i use salicylic face wash(1%) twice daily.
but considering ur theory,no i dnt break out on the non-acne areas(am sorry ,i dnt know what to call it) for aha face wash.
what makes u think so?
