I havent't started on any of the acne.org product yet.

Because I don't know when is the best time to START!!

Im starting uni in 2 weeks and I really don't want my first impression to be the girl with skin peeling off her face!

I want to know how far into the regiment would your skin start to peel? And also how long does this process last for?!

Please help me out!!

Chloe

I started the regimen about 4 weeks ago and I still have flaking issues. However I am told once you stop increasing the dosage eventually your skin will get used to it and youll stop flaking so bad. Ive uped the dosage to a full finger length for about a week now and Ive already noticed flaking is a tiny bit better than at the beginning of the week!.

And id say start as soon as possible! The first month is not supposed to be very fun at all so the sooner you get it out of the way the better!

If you have any questions on the regimen then feel welcome to message me! Ill be glad to share what little knowledge that ive gained so far! Good Luck!

Thanks dqn217! (Sorry, I didn't know how should I address you)

So you have had the flaking issue for up to 4 weeks now, and its getting better?! Congratulation on that :) What about the acne, I suppose its getting better too! :)

Do you keep the dosage you are using now i.e the full finger length for the rest of the regimen?

What do you mean when you said the first month is not supposed to be very fun at all? Like the flaking issue?! -Oh NOO!!-

Im live in Australia at the moment and winter is coming soon, which makes me worried about the drying of my skin on top of the flaking if I were to start the acneorg product.

I used to have oily oily skin when I livd in another country so I had no problem with dry skin, but now since Australia its so dry, and my face doesn't go oily anymore but it goes DRY! Like if I don't put moisturiser on prior make up, you are see all the areas where my skin is so dehydrated! So I wanted to know during the regimen, is their moisturiser the only moisturiser you are "allowed" to use?

haha you can call me dan! For the first couple weeks the itchiness was actaully my biggest problem. Then the flaking came by week 3 immediately after i increased the dosage to fll finger length the flakiness was pretty bad. However it has gotten a lot better this week! Yes once you get to full finger length I do believe you stay there. It is advised to start off slow though. My acne has gotten a bit better but I have moderate/moderately severe acne so it is taking a little while longer. The regimen takes 3-4 months to fully take effect for more severe cases. So hopefully in month two I start seeing more improvement! eusa_pray.gif However from your picture it doesnt look like your acne is bad at all! So I do think youll have faster results than me!

I dont wear makeup as I am male lol but I can relate to the dry skin thing and it is currently winter here in the states so it makes matters worse. However lots of people add the jojoba oil in with the moisterizer for a greater moisturizing effect. I do beleive that there are products on the "ok to use list" that is listed on this website, however I would recommend using the acne.org products and add the joboba oil if you still experience dry skin!

Good Luck!

haha thx Dan :) I do hope your skin gets better by spring :)

I used to have really bad acne, but the dryness of Australia has helped me with my acne yet my skin has not been to anywhere close to good yet.

One thing I was thinking/ concern about this product - you know how there is benzoyl peroxide in the treatment, I was thinking would the oxygen in this treatment age the skin faster?! This is probably a non-sence question but I will find out the answer! :) This got we thinking when I was watching a youtube clip when the girl was making a review on acne.org products, the girl said "what this product does is it actually creates this environment where there is too much oxygen for the bacteria to live.. then eventually cause the bacteria to die" but then I thought would this not oxides the skin cell thus cause skin ageing.

To be honest, if I had really bad acne I would sacrifice those years of my skin being "young" then to still go around and look for what can help my acne.

Please don't take this offensive or anything, I'm not trying to ask you stop using it or what, but I just came across this question so I thought maybe I could put it up here and someone might be able to give me an answer :)

My face has gotten clearer within the first week when I started using something else which is using a scrub then a cleanser then a toner and finish with a moisturiser. And it really work out me!! :)

Once again, I hope those acne.org products really do help :)

Cheers

Chloe xp

I hope my skin gets better by spring as well! Thx! This is my 5th week on it and things seem to be improving now, still far from good skin but progress is very exciting! I am not sure about the aging part, however a lot of people agree with you and say it does, and others say it doesnt so not sure who to believe lol. There are also studies that prove both sides. however i dont plan on being on it forever, just til i clear up and then hopefully I can weed myself slowly off bp and just use aha.

And thats great that you found something that wroks for you! I tried OTC stuff and none of it worked for me sadly, and thats why im trying the regimen now. I really think by the 3 month mark ill be complete clear and happy with my skin! If the OTC stuff stops working id recommend trying the regimen!

Good Luck in your battle, acne is a tough thing to have but remember your a beautiful person inside and out regardless! God bless!
