Does plant based Omega-3 cause acne like fish oil in some people?

I am very sensitive to omega 3 fish oil, it causes cystic acne whenever I've tried it. I've tried every brand including fresh Nordic Naturals and even expensive IFOS cold shipped fresh oil. Has anyone who experiences breakouts from fish based omega 3s been able to take the plant/algae based omega 3s with breakouts?

This doesn't make common sense to me. How sure are you that omega-3s caused cystic acne? There are so many variables in life. I would look for other variables as the culprit.

Having said that, I do think plant based is quite different, so worth a shot.
