I'm just wondering if anything in my current diet could potentially be contributing to recent acne flair ups on my face/neck?
I wanted to post a list of things I generally eat in a week and see if anyone spots anything which might be a red light, that maybe I'm not aware of. I know everyone's skin / body is different but perhaps there's some things I should be avoiding?
So, in a standard week I can consume;
| Sweet Potatoes Cucumber | |
| Carrots | |
| Onions | |
| Turnips | |
| Red pepper | |
| Aubergine | |
| Courgette | |
| Haddock Salmon | |
| Mixed veg (frozen) | |
| Broccoli (frozen) | |
| Peas (frozen) | |
| Black olives | |
| Brown Rice | |
| Hemp Milk | |
| Turkey breast pieces Turkey mince | |
| Chicken breast pieces | |
| Turkey steaks | |
| Baked Beans | |
| Bread (GF) | |
| Porridge oats (GF) | |
| Oat cakes (GF) | |
| Cereal (GF) | |
That looks like a really good list of foods to me! Do you ever cook your meats in oils? If so, which ones? You may want to consider using oils that contain the "better-for-you" fats, and less saturated fat. E.g. olive, canola, corn, peanut, safflower, sunflower, or soybean.
