I still have a little acne but I think coffee made it a lot worse. It seems the frequency has reduced since cutting it out. I read that coffee messes with your hormones and spikes your stress levels to wake you up, so could it be a big cause of acne?

Hmmm never really heard of this... like EVER. ever ever ever. I have heard people talk about milk and chocoloate but THANKFULLY never coffee. My esthetician has told me everything I ever need to cut out and she has never mentioned coffee. So I will be interested to hear what other people have to say.

did some reading and it seems coffee directly affects the adrenal glands (hormones) to wake you up. could it make hormonal acne worse and produce more oil? does it also dehydrate skin?

May be as a result of using the dairy creamer that might have sugar. Do you drink your coffee black?
