I'm probably going to be destroyed on here for my ideas but here goes. I've been playing with food for about 10 years now and I'm pretty sure acne, at least mine, is caused by diet. I believe that the additives, preservatives, colors and artificial flavors can't be normally digested by our bodies so they leave through our pores causing acne.
I found that an all natural diet is the key. By eliminating Fast Food, Restaurants and Junk Food, skin will dramatically clear up. Going to a diet that has simple, fewer and natural ingredients is the way to keep skin clear.
Once again, I'm sure people will try to discredit me, claiming that ice cream, pizza, and potato chips do not cause acne. Nonsense. However, I am not here to change your mind, but here to help those with an open mind, who are willing to try something new.

Yes, acne is totally affected by diet. As someone with severe acne, my first piece of advice if you are suffering with acne is to change your diet! You might save yourself from horrible scarring. Had I known my acne was caused by the foods I ate, I would saved myself from lots of scarring, self-esteem issues, basically I would actually have a life.
