How big of a factor is inflammation?

I think we agree in this forum that aside from genetics and hormones, inflammation is a factor in acne. But to what degree? And how much will cutting out inflammatory substances and taking anti inflammatory supplements help?

Inflammation impairs sebum quality and causes skin cells to become deformed apparently. There is some speculation that "inflammation" is already present before someone even develops acne (which usually during puberty, for most people anyway) but this is not proven.

i think its the case for me as I have several inflammatory conditions. I get migraines and have really bad allergies and hormone issues.
