I am 21 years old, male and suffering from cystic acne. From the last 5 months it went horribly wrong, I guess added too much of milk in my diet(three times a day). Before that my stomach went pretty bad for one month, after that i started taking milk heavily for body gain(i am skinny), but resulted in cystic acne. Since then changed my diet plan.
morning - apple cider vinegar with honey, 5 almonds, walnuts(been 7 days only)
lunch - after lunch aloe vera juice, sometimes apple cider vinegar or lemon juice with honey, 2 eggs
dinner - after lunch aloe vera juice ,2 eggs
It didnt help me well so i went to skin specialist and started taking isotretinoin and benzoyl peroxide(been 1 month). Benzoyl peroxide i resist most of the times, and instead apply aloe vera gel with tea tree oil. It is also not helping much, i still have big cystic acne under the skin.
NOW read that i need omega 3 acids so got flax seeds, but the question is SHOULD I INCLUDE IT IN MY DIET ??
many people reported that it breaks them out... i already have big ones, so please suggest what to add and what to not.
And i am thinking of stopping these medicines or should i wait more?
@leelowe1
yes i am on accutane(isotretinoin).
My overall Indian diet is like this
morning - (empty stomach) apple cider vinegar with honey or aloe vera juice with honey, 5 almonds , 5 walnuts
i am in hostel so for breakfast i have every day something different... indian dishes. like parantha(
lunch - Indian vegetable dishes, dal (pulses) (
lemon juice or apple cider vinegarwith honey sometimes
dinner - almost same... sometimes some special dish is there for dessert.
after dinner i take aloe vera juice with honey and ofcourse isotretinoin tablets
can eggs and chicken causes cystic acne?
also i am skinny and want to gain fat.. is apple cider vinegar preventing that?
