Any kind of dairy, including kefir, breaks me out as well. I mostly drank kefir for probiotics but had to switch to sauerkraut. No more problems.
I'm not breaking out too much anymore.. I was fermenting kefir for 24 hours and now that I'm leaving a little longer I'm reacting better.
The only dairy I can tolerate is kefir and I believe it actually helps me to stay clear as well.
I've been drinking it for awhile now so I can't remember if I had an initial purge phase.
Hmmm nice. Are you 100% clear?
