Dairy free? I've been dairy free for like a week and been cutting out other food, and adding fruits, vegetables. my acne has gotten better, but I lost 4 pounds in a week. I am trying to gain weight, and its hard without dairy and bread. I also feel like I am starving myself because apparently everything is bad for acne

Brb no cereal

Brb no bread

Brb no dairy

Brb no red meat

Brb eat an Apple for lunch

Brb NO MEAT!?

Brb eat celery for lunch

Is this real life??

Brb no whey protein.....

Why would anyone be mad?

So, if you are body building I would imagine that caloric intake is incredibly important, protein being the key? What specific food groups did you cut out? Did you cut dairy, bread, and red meat all at once? This is an issue because you have no way of knowing what cut food improved your acne. If it's all three, it sounds like a matter of replacing those proteins. carbohydrates and fats.

I mean...it kind of goes without saying that you would lose weight if you only eat apples and celery all day and you are working out....

Lol I eat more than that. It's just that people on here actually told me to eat thise things for lunch, and I was like really???

I cut out dairy by the way just milk, cheese and whey protein. Pork, (microwave foods) the hardest!

I was just posting this here, because I read a diet posted by someone idk where, and it was dairy free it was a bodybuilding diet. I was just wondering if anyone else heard about it.

I eat around 6-7 cups of legumes a day. I eat them at every meal with fruits and veggies, a little brown or parboiled rice and some nuts. I even add them to my smoothies.

The legumes alone bring me to around 2,000 calories and then a cup of peanuts in a smoothie brings me up to around 3,000. The fats I add along with my fruits and veggies and soy protein brings me to around 4,000. I have a fast metabolism so I eat very high carb though. My ratio is around 55c/20p/25f. You could easily increase your protein with soy or pea protein and fats by supplementing your foods with more olive oil or coconut oil to adjust your ratio. It can definitely be done.

OP, you are smart to chop out the cereal, bread, dairy. I would advise removing vegetable oils as well but red meat?? No. Red meat will not cause acne. If you don't want to eat red meat then eat some chicken, pork, turkey, or fish. Get grass fed, natural raised or whatever if you are concerned about their feed. You need to eat meat and fat to get enough calories for muscle gain.

nut butters will help you reach caloric goals but I prefer to use muscle meat and body fat of animals. raw nuts will interfere with digestion after a couple handfuls.

I've been packing on muscle for the last couple months just cramming meat, eggs, fruit, avocados, sardines, potatoes, coconut oil, butter and green vegetables down my throat. I do weighted pushups/pullups/squats. I supplement with cod liver oil. Skin always clear.

The important thing with diet is to make sure you are eating fresh, whole food sources. You don't want to be eating packaged microwave dinners or anything with a big list of ingredients on the box. Go to the grocery store and stock up on real food. (Meat, fruit, vegetables, avocados, nuts, berries, seeds) Cook these things at home and don't use lazy methods.

BTW, canned sardines (in olive oil, not soybean or any other veggie oil garbage) along with avocado is my mainstay lunch. DGAF if it looks weird. Gives me power and tons of calories.
