Hello and Welcome .
I can tell you right now that you are on a path of eating a high blood sugar combination of just fruits and carbs (beans, rice and bread). You NEED vegetables, and it doesn't have to be salads (I don't even eat a lot of salad, but I enjoy it as a treat when I can). Yes you are eating meat for protein, but vegetables ALSO have protein in them, and far more vitamins, so don't toss them to the side!
You also need get more fiber from lentils, nuts and legumes. Other kinds of nutrients, as well as good quality foods with many vitamins and minerals, are best from freshly ground spices. Use a mortar and pesto if you can, and if not then a coffee grinder. They add flavor and awesome taste to some fantastic vegetable soups and stir fries.
Vitamin A and Vitamin D are good to have, but make sure there is Calcium for the Vitamin D so they can work together... I would suggest steamed or boiled broccoli.
Sleep is important too! It's personally the fastest healer for me, and can show some of the most promising results.
I can loose weight fast too if I don't eat everyday... Bread is a great cheater for that, but if not then eat some REAL Peanut Butter (not the Skippy's or Jif kind... natural tastes better without all that sugar anyway, and enjoyed when spread over green apples for an awesome nutty and sour combination), Avocado, Granola, Extra Virgin Olive Oil or GOOD Vegetable Oil (especially with bread), and Potatoes. Only eat these if your weight is an issue, but it sounds to be like you might be eating too much fruit and high GI Index/Loads foods. Other than that you seem to be doing fine.
hi thanks for your reply! yes i agree i need more veggies and am going to try and work them in, i eat tomatoes, spinach and broccoli some days, and also have green pepper and carrots every so often. i don't know much about lentils or legumes but will definitely look into them. recently i've kinda stayed away from nuts and seeds and fats because i hear they break a lot of people out, especially peanut butter.

You don't need a lot of nuts and legumes but they are a good source of nutrition and protein, and they help keep a healthy weight if you loose it fast like I do. Fresh, steamed, stirred or boiled vegetables have so many tasty possibilities, so find what you like and enjoy it!
