So I'm suspecting that I might have a leaky gut syndrome since I suffer from GERD/Acid reflux. And I've heard that Acne can be aggravated through Low stomach acid > Acid reflux/indigestion > intestinal bacterial overgrowth & low nutrient absorption > leaky gut > worsened acne

I want to see if VSL#3 can reduce my acne but I can't afford to stop taking Doxycyline because if I start breaking out again that will make me want to skip work. I have a feeling that the main cause of my acne is my acne-prone skin.

But if my acne is been aggravated by unhealthy gut flora, can I still see results on my skin if I keep taking 100mg Doxycycline every morning and take VSL#3 before bed? Or will the Antibiotic kill off all of the good bacteria from VSL#3 and make it useless?
