Hi all,
bear with me my complete newbiness to my analysis. But i've come to realise that things like korean BBQ, junk food and anything that is heavy in oil makes me break out significantly. What do they all have in common - oil!
While I have tried to avoid these types of food - sometimes my discipline slips or social situations make it unavoidable. So my question is - is there any technique or flushing I can do that can flush the oil out of my body after eating these types of food? My skin tends to break out 3-4 days after consuming such foods which makes me think that it's giving the oil in my body time to build up and then breakout!
yes i have always thought about that then found solution so i dont get a breakout the next day
if you do manage to eat food with oil , try to manage it and eat a little control your diet and think if its the worth the breakout
you want too get omega 3s in your diet to balance out the omega 6s from the oil that causes breakout so get atleast 2g of omega 3 a day and less omega 6s as possible
next thing is fiber , getting atleast 10g of fiber will really help from getting breakouts from carbs, sugar, high fat , oil
for each gram of etc , 1g of fiber so basically if you eat 5g of sugar you need 5g of fiber to balance it out
next thing is hormonal supplement since it tends to cause it for me
so you can try DIM supplement to get rid of that
Your immune system may be showing signs of a reaction a few days later, but things are set into motion upon contact. Delayed hypersensitivity reactions take time to show up, and they can't be stopped between initialization and appearance.
If it really is just the oil, there might be things you can do to reduce the severity of a breakout. You can eat more omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil), and you can look at specific oils. It's possible that soybean oil breaks you out, while safflower oil does not.
