Lately I've had great success with my diet and I just wanted to share. This is what a typical day has looked like for me lately:
Breakfast: Gluten free oatmeal and a green smoothie
Lunch: Chicken breast with vegetables
Dinner: Chicken breast with more vegetables
Snacks: Sometimes I have more oatmeal, chicken breast, vegetables, or fruit
For my lunch and dinner literally half the plate is covered in vegetables. I've also been trying to keep all my meals very low in fat.
The changes I've noticed are that my skin barely feels oily anymore and I have much less active acne. My blackheads also seem to be slowly diminishing and overall my skin looks much healthier. My hair is also much less oily. My hair used to look oily 1 day after I washed it, but now it doesn't look that way for 2-3 days. I also have much less body odor for some reason...
I plan to keep this up. The effects are so nice
According to Loren Cordain (the author of the dietary cure for acne) some foods like high-fat foods (the wrong fat), dairy, grains, legumes etc increase sebum production and inflammatory response in the body --> acne.
Could be because of the pizza :-/ or could be a coincidence.
