So I just found out about a product called diatomaceous earth. Apparently it works wonders for cleaning out your body and will get rid of all kinds of parasites and will regulate your digestive system. There have also been a few people that said it helped clear up their acne which makes complete sense to me. I've always had a feeling that my acne has been caused by my poor digestion and I'm really considering trying this product. My acne is very very light thanks to the regime but I still want to find out what is causing my acne so I won't have to use acne products anymore. Has anyone here tried it?
Also if you decide you'd like to try it as well PLEASE make sure you get FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth. The diatomaceous earth that is sold in pool stores is TOXIC.
I don't know how it regulates your digestive system, other than by getting rid of parasites. Which it does. I recently started giving it to my dog who is prone to tape worms.
Protease digestive enzymes on an empty stomach also helps weaken and kill parasites as well as fungi and other microbes.
They actually add tiny amounts of Diatomaceous Earth (which is basically ground up silica) to wheat, oats etc. to keep bugs out.
I rub it all over my cat and it works wonders on the fleas, better than advocate or other topical treatments slash tablets.
I don't agree with ingesting it, but if you do then definite avoid pool grade (extremely irritating) or garden grade and opt for food grade DE.
I posted a similar thread about edible earth (bentonite clay), they seem to have similar benefits and work in a similar way to cleanse the digestive tract. Have you tried it? I am trying out edible earth because it seems there has been more research on bentonite clay and its benefits when taken internally.

My skin has been better than usual but I have suspected that I have Candida and parasites which probably causes the acne besides my many other issues and inflammation. Its to early to really give a full review....but food grade should be safe. Look at all of the fantastic reviews on amazon.com
I am also considering msm internally to. Since the msm concealer I have been using is pretty great
What is the name of the brand? I've been having a hard time finding a good brand I can trust
