Recommendations For A Super Gentle Exfoliation

Hi (not sure if this is the right place to post this...),

I stopped using BP in September last year after I ran out of my supply of Panoxyl :( . I am now trying out the Lumie Clear light device, it's early days so I can't really say what effect it is having, however since I am no longer using the BP I am getting a lot more blackheads and whiteheads (as you would expect), and the old skin looks quite visible to me up close (especially around my mouth where I get most of my acne).

I feel that the Lumie Clear will only ever be able to help so much if I don't manage to somehow exfoliate the old skin off my face, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a super gentle way of exfoliating my face?

Some extra notes:

I have tried many different granular exfoliators over the years (I just stopped using one by Simple) and all of them have only irritated my skin and caused more spots. I am a firm believer that anything scratching the skin like that is only going to cause irritation (despite the fact I keep getting taken in by the various companies/reviews telling me they are good!).

Also I will not rub or massage my skin; I try for as little contact as possible. I have found that anything more than the gentlest wash and application of moisturiser increases the inflammation in my skin.

So if you have any ideas could you please suggest something which is as absolutely gentle as possible, and can be left on more like a mask. I would prefer it to be natural if possible, but I am willing to try something from the shops if it™s mild and fragrance free.

Thanks very much in advance for any suggestions!

Diluted acv toner. The acv is a mild exfoliant. Dilute with brewed green tea.

I agree with the baking soda and acv toner.
