What Are Some Safe Starches, Carbs, Glucose?

What type of carbs do you guys consume and stay clear also??

white rice, sweet potatos and lots of fruit always break me out .

brown rice seems okay, with the occasional break out...

i need a more diverse carb selection that wont break me out..

what do you guys eat for carbs? as in glucose

You could try some brown rice bread, pure oats (no gluten). I buy coconut flour and almond flour and make breads and muffins out of these. I think it's key to not eat too many in a day, I'll maybe eat a grain once or twice a day. Eat lots of protein and veggies. Also I find fermented foods (sauerkraut, yogurt, kombucha, miso soup,etc) to be really good for helping acne as well. I stay away from dairy products, besides a little cheese here and there.

I can't handle too many carbs either, but I can eat the following (in reasonable portions):

 

boiled fruit -- I boil apples, frozen blueberries, and a few dates in a little water for about 10 mins., then add coconut oil at the end.

boiled carrots

winter squash -- I love buttercup squash especially. It's starchier and more filling than other types of squash, but not as starchy as potatoes. But any type of squash is good (butternut, acorn, etc.).

 

Raw fruit always breaks me out, but not cooked. Cooking reduces the sugar content somewhat.
